Laser treatment for stress urinary incontinence

Looking For A Safe And Effective Treatment For Stress Urinary Incontinence

Dr Janjic offers her patients IncontiLase® medical laser treatment: a safe and effective treatment which can be used by itself or in conjunction with pelvic floor physiotherapy.

IncontiLase® Medical Laser Treatment

The IncontiLase® medical laser is non-ablative. Which means it’s far less invasive than ablative lasers. This type of laser treatment works by heating the targeted tissue without destroying it.

The key benefit of non-ablative laser treatments is it stimulates your body’s collagen and kickstarts the natural healing process.

This laser treatment works by carefully warming vaginal walls with the thermal laser energy. This thermal heating stimulates collagen contraction which results in: tightening, strengthening and thickening of the vaginal walls and tissue which support the urethra.

Highly Comfortable, Effective And Safer

Treatment with the IncontiLase® medical laser is highly effective. The effects of treatment will also continue to improve up to six months after treatment.

It should be noted that this treatment is not permanent. Dr Janjic recommends yearly booster treatments to ensure the effectiveness and longevity of the procedure.

What’s The Process With IncontiLase® Medical Laser?

Your first appointment with Dr Janjic will be your consultation. During this appointment your medical history will be recorded; and you will be assessed to determine the best treatment for you.

Your appointments following your consult will be when the IncontiLase® medical laser procedure will be performed. The laser takes between 45 to 60 minutes per session and you may require two to three sessions to see the best results.

There is no downtime from day to day activities, although you may experience some sensitivity. It is recommended you avoid heavy lifting and excessive exercise for two weeks.
